The watch is nice for the price (app $93 USD). It's not perfect though. Adjusting the date doesn't go smoothly. I ended up advancing the date manually through repeated 24 hour cycles from the time set position. The date position was balky. My OCD is offended because the second hand doesn't line up exactly at every second marking on the dial. It aligns perfectly on some; just off a tad on most. On the plus side: overall, it keeps time very well. It is also a physically attractive watch. I've received many compliments on the watch. Also, the band appears to be of good quality. Swapping out bands is easy with the quick release pins. The band softened up appreciably after a couple of days of on and off wear. Unfortunately, my communication attempt with Tapferkeit via email was ignored when I inquired about when the watch would be shipped. I received a notice that the Royal Post had been notified that a shipment was enroute to them but then nothing until about 10 days later. I didn't know if the package was lost and it's disappointing that I never received a response from Tapferkeit. I'll adopt a wait and see attitude as to its overall value. I hope it provides many years of accurate timekeeping.
